ColdBlast

January 15 & 16, 2005, with a weekend of family fun at Rochester Museum & Science Center presented by Preferred Care. Kick-off the coldrush season with FREE admission to ALL RMSC exhibits, including Rochester's Frederick Douglass, Surprise! It's Science, the Patricia F. Hale Hands-On Gallery AdventureZone, and Strasenburgh Planetarium , with hourly screenings of Pulse a Stomp Odyssey. Join in on special activities like Rochester Red Wings baseball toss and a Raging Rhinos soccer kick. Outdoor actives include Rock Ventures climbing wall and snowshoe demonstrations. Plenty of entertainment, featuring local favorite comedian, Sky Sands; Bart & Kevin award winning duo; Airplay, a father & son juggling duo; and Chris Wilkinson, "The Magic Guy." Come see cooking demonstrations by TV's Julia Collin Davison, learn about kayaking from the Genesee Waterways Center, and much more. Plus, free refreshments and raffles for great prizes from Preferred Care and friends.

Here's a heartwarming note: Preferred Care and the RMSC will be collecting new and gently used winter wear and toys to be donated to people in need.
